Boy: I love you. Do you love me?
Girl: …

Here’s my entry for MT K.O. Round 2… I had a REALLY hard time with the theme, starting and scrapping two other WIPs before hitting on this one, which felt closer to right. I was originally planning to work the dialogue into a ParaKiss wall (Yukari vs. George, can you see it?) but then decided to recycle it into this wall instead x]

I don’t normally like “explaining” my walls, but here I was basically playing with a twist off the “red thread of fate” concept. And that’s all I’m going to say :X

Boy (and girl’s face) vectored from this scan from Digik Gallery – I think it was marked as “Unknown,” but if you know who the original artist is let me know. (Don’t look for the scan on Digik though, since that site’s been infected with a virus of some sort!) Then I vectored the rest of the girl’s outlines from this scan. Used three origami patterns from deviantART and one from Tama’s patterns site… and two (paper) textures from Stock.XCHNG for the background.

Origami patterns are love, btw. I should use them more often! :D

My only suggestion on this wall would be to put some longer strands of hair around the girl’s face. It looks a bit like a mullet to me with the shorter strands you kept from his hair.

    I wish there was a Thumbs-up alt code. ♥

@Gid you mean like a “Like” button for Facebook?

I loved this one because of its use of textures – not overdone, but just enough to suggest an origami-type style :) .

@Jay – No, like the heart there. They’re actual text, not images.
