Time Flood

This was my entry for Tama’s Which?Waller Contest. For this first round, the theme was old-school Clamp which is something I am not that familiar with. In result, I essentially just went searching for an image that I just thought looked kind of cool. I found this one from Tokyo Babylon with clocks, and a character breaking up like cracking rock. I thought it really looked cool and decided to do something with it.
The walls basic design is partially influenced by both the music and album art of Boris’s “Flood”, though my wall probably looks nothing like it. Basically, the wall is just a simple circular design I made to resemble bubbles or foam in the ocean, and overlayed the vectored scan on top. Then I slapped some text on the side. Though I don’t think this is that great, I feel really good about this one and find its probably one of the better walls I have made in 2007 so far.
Just to note, I ended up being the most easily recognizable waller in the contest, so yea….I guess its easy to tell a “crapmonster” wall.
