I was quite surprised that this is a photo. It looks like the backgrounds you can see in Ghibli movies, if I am not mistaken. Especially perhaps some scenes in Spirited Away and maybe Tekkonkinkreet, where the backgrounds are 3D-like. This feeling creates a uniqueness in this wall, and sort of adds hints of nostalgia or make it feel vintage. Nice work!

Glad to hear from you, hope all’s well And yeah – I’ve definitely hit a new all-time low in terms of following anime, but interest has slowly picked up in the last month or so, and small walling ideas are popping up in my head again. Not sure if anything will eventuate but we’ll see! Any chance you’ll be putting out a new wall at some point? 8)

Wow man! This is amazing! I think you’ve found a niche with this picture. Gorgeous anime women are often depicted in the child-like manner that most anime these days are drawn with, which is obnoxious.
This seriously has become my all time favorite picture, not only because of the woman but also because of the colors and artwork.
Amazing job! Please do more like this!
