I’m pretty rusty >_> I just got back from almost six months of volunteering/traveling and finished moving halfway across the world – didn’t use a single anime wall during. So I completely lost my motivation to wall and probably would’ve “retired” except I (for some strange reason) got the urge to completely revamp pixel ellipsis, so… *site pimpage*

This wall is for Jay! I had this idea in mind for the longest time for her MT Moar Plz request, but obviously didn’t get off my ass to deliver until now. Moyashimon was one of the most randomly awesome and cutest anime ever, so it wasn’t too hard for me to pair it up with takoyaki I did go a little overboard with the microbes though… My original idea had the takoyaki more prominently featured, but once I started vectoring the little germs I couldn’t seem to stop. Sorry Jay >_> Hope you’ll like this wall anyways!

For MyrrhLynn’s AP Moar Plz bishie request!

I had originally started an xxxHOLiC wall for Myrrh, but with my pending move/travel (and my snail’s pace of walling!) I quickly realized there was no way in heck I would finish that wall before I left. I immediately wanted to try a D.N.Angel wall next – partially because it’s such a guilty pleasure for me. I definitely would’ve completely dropped that series way back when if the bishies in it weren’t so pretty ; D; So when I saw this scan I thought LOL – Diva Dark! Must wall for her xD So I proceeded to vector him in as many shades of “dark” as possible.

Had tried out some brushes/textures in the background, but decided simple is best.

Wings vector-lifted from this scan in Illustrator… and that’s pretty much it for this wall!

For my request, I’d like Moar Princess Tutu walls plz ; D; I finished netflixing that series recently, and it was just amazing!

Fairly fast one… mostly experimental. I’ve always wanted to do a wall with a crayon-type look xD So I googled up a great Photoshop brush manipulation tutorial and then just went for it. Overall I like how it turned out and definitely hope to experiment more with this style going forward. Also, I’ve fallen heads over heels in love with Kimi ni Todoke, and Kazehaya is one of the awesomest characters ever who always manages to wring my heart into little pieces – so being able to stare at him on my desktop makes me super happy xD

Tried out some selective vectoring, then ended up texture-whoring the whole thing in an attempt to make this wall look more interesting I don’t think this was what I originally had in mind when I first started messing around in Illustrator/Photoshop… but it did kinda grow on me the more I looked at it

Nia vectored from this scan. Textures used include a brown paper texture from Mayang and another from Bashcorpo, as well as a bokeh texture from deviantART. Bokeh textures are love by the way xD Must try to use more of those going forward!

Scan is by Nheira, which I tweaked a bit in Photoshop to fit my concept. I actually got permission from Nheira on devART to post this wall as long as it won’t get printed or sold. For this wall I took a lot of cues from my Eureka 7 wall and my Nodame Cantabile wall… probably two of my favorite walls out of all the ones I’ve made. Basically recycled the paper texture from and cont. on the simplistic approach.
