• Slapping a scan on an abstract bg is not appropriate for WAR contest, this is supposed to bring new ideas about the walling industry, not come back to the old school techniques. Scan is not even blended correctly and the abstract is too sharp for the characters, plus the colors are too contrasted.
  
  
• The odd colours in the background do detract. But then again they help enhance that chaotic anguish feeling you get when someone dies and you don't know what's going to be happening thereafter. The rain effect is subtle but helps evoke the memory of this scene from the anime.
  
  
• Good scan to use, but the wall needs something that will pull out the intensity of the scan, I guess the texture? made it look like it's raining, but it woulda been better if u made it really raining, accentuate the blood more. And the wall is a bit oversaturated
  
  
• he image in itself is sad already, I think the BG should've accented that.
