Rules: Submission GuidelinesEach participant can only submit one work for each round. The submitted art can also be posted on Minitokyo or any other personal site, but only if in the description is present a link to the page of the W.A.R. Contest. Feel free to get advice and suggestions from your group on your work, but once it is officially submitted, the piece of art cannot be modified. To submit a piece of art, you will send it to wallartrev@gmail.com, with "W.A.R. contest" and your MT username as the subject and a detailed explanation of your reasoning behind the wallpaper (much as if you were to post it on Minitokyo). Also, please include the MT link to your posted submission. You will receive confirmation that we received your work properly. For individual competition Round 2, please send in a signed AND unsigned version of your wall (basically your name cannot show up anywhere in the wall) and NO DESCRIPTIONS. The unsigned versions of the walls will be judged on a secret page to ensure anonymity and fairness. The signed version of the walls will be posted on the website after the judging results are out. Please do not post your walls on MT or anywhere else until judging for Round 2 ends on October 16th. In each round you will be given a theme you have to express and a range of possible sources (e.g. use a scan from Naruto). Be sure to tell us in the mail how your artwork is expressing the theme! Unless specified, only scans available on Minitokyo are permitted. As for resolution of the works submitted: For wallpapers, the minimum resolution is 1024x768 For posters, the resolution can be 1500x1000 or 1000x1500 |
